Hi Robin...There is a canned food- Iams max calorie that I mix with dry (of course my dry food is soaked in water and it's pureed because of Oreo's gtube), it's bulked up with all sorts of stuff- just not sure if it is ok to give puppies...but your vet would know. Hope that may help. Good luck!

Hi Robin,
Where did you hear that high carb food is best? I've always read that high protein is best. We do well on Iams dry food soaked/moistened with hot water but before that we also liked Fresh Pet Select which comes in a tube and is refrigerated. You can make meatballs out of the Fresh Pet Select pretty easily. We tried meatballs and more of a slushy mixture but Jack does best on soaked kibble these days. Good luck - sometimes you just have to keep trying different things! :)
